The SibMed Biobank is a specialized biorepository, which is created for long-term and systematic storage of biological material to use them further in scientific and clinical research.
The biobank complies with all international standards. It is certified according to the ISO 9001:2015 “Quality management systems — Requirements” (IDT).
To implement its functions, the biobank has the following equipment:

- Low-temperature and combined refrigerators Haier Biomedical
- LMC-4200R Refrigerated Centrifuge
- Eppendorf Centrifuge MiniSpin
- Samples accounting system:
- Micronic Tube Reader DT300
- Zebra bar code printer
- Electronic database
